This month’s piece is titled “what do you see when you look at the clouds?”
While listening to this song on a loop, I was scrolling through my phone for photos and came across this one of an interesting cloud. To me, this song has a peaceful, floating quality reminiscent of clouds drifting across the sky.
The predominant sound is my guitar run through a reverb to give it it’s pad-like quality. I added a synth bass drone, a little guitar line, and some sparkly synth accents and then let them meld into sonic ambience. The live guitars and synths blend really well and I’m looking forward to incorporating more live guitar into my future pieces.
And let me know in the comments, what do you see in the clouds?
