This month’s second piece is titled A Night in Caledonia. I’m taking a few month’s break from releasing and posting a monthly ambient piece. So, from October to December I’ve decided to share my neoclassical piano releases. A Night in Caledonia is a collection of the first three pieces I released, back in 2020. They were originally written over a decade ago, but at the time were just melodies and chord progressions floating around in my head.
I love the sound of the piano on this. I can see a candle lit living room, sitting by the fire while one of the family pounds on the keys. Great feeling.
Interesting, I didn’t know there was a Caledonia, Missouri! It’s funny because ever since I released these I’ve notice these names pop up more and more. Especially Melrose.

Thank you! That's a delightful scene.
This is beautiful! Just stumbled onto you through a note in my feed. Oh, and Caledonia caught my eye because I have ancestors from Caledonia Missouri!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Man, I wish MY piano had a cracked soundboard. Sounds lovely.
