This month’s song is titled Forever Isn’t Too Long. . . .
Forever Isn’t Too Long. . . is repetitious, but in a contemplative way, with each repetition asking for time to unfold. When I listen, there is a stillness to it that I haven’t captured with any previous song. And this stillness brings me places. It can bring me to a place and hold me there in reverie as long as it wants.
Ample amounts of reverb and delay applied to the guitars in Forever Isn’t Too Long. . . give it space and movement. The piano and string section provide the melody and harmonies, and underneath it all, a synth drone.
