This month’s piece is titled Evening.
As we close out the year, we’ve come to Evening, the third and final of my early piano releases. A soft piano takes us through three sections, each introducing their own melody, and then returns us to the first with a slight variation.
The melody begins soft and lilting, yet shows it’s weight at times. It floats by, mirroring the evening spent wandering along the river Main that runs through Frankfurt, where the album photo was taken. Evening drifts into night.

What’s Next
There are a couple things happening next month. First, I’ll be turning on paid subscriptions in January. At the moment I’m not planning to put any articles behind the paywall, but a paid subscription will help keep this newsletter going, and you’ll also have my gratitude. :)
Second, I’ll be beginning a new series taking a look into the histories of instruments. You can expect these articles sometime in the middle of each month. The regularly scheduled monthly posts of ambient music will continue as well.
Thank you for reading my words and listening to my music.
